Refund Policy for What’s in the Box LLC

At What’s in the Box LLC, we specialize in delivering high-quality, custom-modified shipping containers for a variety of residential, commercial, industrial, and government applications. Based in North Charleston, SC, we are committed to exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Please review our refund policy below.

Scope of Policy

This refund policy applies to all transactions involving custom shipping container modifications and structures for residential, food, beverage, retail, office, and commercial industries.

Payment Methods

We accept payments exclusively by ACH, bank wire, and certified check. We do not accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, or digital payment methods unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

No Refund and No Return of Deposit Policy

All Sales Final: Due to the custom nature of our shipping container builds, all sales are final. Once an order is confirmed and production has commenced, no refunds will be issued.

Deposit Terms: All deposits are non-refundable once work on the project has started. This includes design work, engineering, permitting, materials ordered, shipping containers purchased or reserved, fabrication, modifications, or labor initiated on your project.

Cancellation Policy: If a customer cancels a project after work has begun, all deposits and payments made toward completed work, materials, labor, engineering, permitting, and other project-related costs shall remain non-refundable.

Defective or Incorrect Items

We take pride in our craftsmanship. If you discover a defect or an error that does not conform to your signed specifications, please notify us in writing within seven (7) days of delivery. We will review the claim and, if valid, correct the issue through repair or modification at our discretion.

Return Process

For claims regarding defects or incorrect specifications, please contact our customer service team with your order number and a description of the issue so we can promptly review your claim.

Liability Disclaimer

What’s in the Box LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Policy Amendments

What’s in the Box LLC reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice. The version in effect on the date your contract is executed shall govern your transaction.
